Ok so I have a obd1 b18c sir in my eg and after I got a alarm installed 4 days ago my car would die when tried to restart at running temp. I replaced my dizzy cap and plugs cause I thought that was the problem car started first try after that then I drove it for over an hour tried to restart it at running temp and started and bogged out like before then fired fine 10 min later. Went to restart it 25 min after I got home from that and it's just a clicking sound and the starter isn't cranking. I got a new starter and it's still making the same noise even tho my old starter tested bad. Checked the grounds to and the main relay the feul pump is priming. Anyone know whats going on I want to drive the car

Is the alarm system draining power from the battery? Was it hooked up properly? Do your headlights dim when trying to turn the car on?

 

Found the problem it was the tranny ground was bad. But now my cluster/brake light fuse keeps blowing rite when I put a new fuse what wire is shorting it out?
