Default GSR Redline Problem

i just finish doing my swap, and for some reason, i never had a problem like this before, my first swap i did, i could take my rpm to 8200 no problem but with this swap it doesnt go pass 7000 rpm please help me out people.

the ecu may be chipped from the previous owner for a smaller rpm range.. thats my guess.. hope it helps

they will cut at 7000 when Vtec isnt hooked up right or working properly.

Check the oil

once it gets to 7000 rpm, it cuts off, the ecu is correct, p72, swap it to another p72 same problem, im thinking it might be the rsx oil filter, its smaller, couple of guys i know use rsx oil filter to build dup faster oil pressure and for better response for vtec, but when vtec pops, **** pulls pretty good but suck when it redlines 7000 rpm. Did a new oil change too when swaped motor. imma switch out oil filter see if it helps.
