- like it says, I will be driving and between 2k-4k it will just cut out for a second, no throttle response, then it instantly picks back up. Sometimes after doing this the CEL will come on. The rest of the time it drives strong all the way to 8k, even after the CEL comes on.

I checked the code, and its just a solid code, it does not flash at all.

Last week the fuel pump went out, so I just put in a new Walbro and a new fuel pressure regulator, runs much better, but still same problem.

Could this be an ignition problem? - maybe the ignitor or something, a lot of people are saying my ECU - buts its been doing it for over a month, i would think it would die by now.

 

is the car tuned ??? is the new fuel pump flowing more than the previous one installed in the car ?? you should make sure its not dumping fuel or its leaning it out... sounds like what i had after i installed a new pump... i would make sure... do you have some sort of data logging available ?!?!? see the AFR......

all i can think of since u said u installed a new pump..... and it sounds similar to what i had.

 

right now its on stock program, pretty much stock, but prepped for turbo.

Fuel pressure reads about 45 PSI after the filter.

I have a AFR guage, it drops of when the engine cuts, but i cant tell if this is an effect of the enginge cutting, or the cause. Typically it runs rich all the way through the range if i have the slightest positive throttle.

I do have some 450 injectors waiting to go in, but im out of chips for the ecu- this due to more of my time spent on others cars than mine.

its cabled to data-log, but i need an ostrich+laptop, i'm so burnt on tuning the hard way.

Do you think this could be a problem with the injectors? - that was my next guess - pull and clean in chemtool.

 

FIXED! - I unplugged every connector under the hood and plugged everything back in and its fixed.
