If you had a tuned 13:1 2.0 VTEC motor you would have a beast on your hands. Considering race engines run in that ballpark and have the budget and the techs to support it causes me to question why you would think you could do it on the street without breaking.

Hatch: 2200 lbs with driver
Power: 180-200 at the wheels, GSR tranny with JDM final drive, 10lb flywheel, dual diapraghm/kevlar action clutch, 9250 rev limit
Traction: Z10s bars, QUAIFE ATB LSD, 13" slicks, koni kellow struts/GC coilovers, 400/500 eibach springs

I am sure you could see low 13s/high 12s daily drivable with street tires, with slicks I am sure low to mid 12s consistently would be par for this setup.

185-200 at the wheels:

B18C1 11.5-12:1
Head: Stock ITR valves, ITR LMAs, Ti retainers would help, Skunk2 Stage 1 cams 255/249 profile, lightly ported head, milled .0020", ARP head studs, 2 layer HG
Bottom end: Stock crank, ACL bearings stock rods, ARP rod bolts, JDM ITR .25 oversized pistons.
Misc: ITR intake manifold, JDM ITR header, 2.5" cat, 2.5" piping to muffler with straight through design. 310cc balanced injectors, GSR fuel pump, B/M fuel pressure regulator, OBD1 computer with mugen maps for open loop when racing, stock maps for street, Power industries Timing belt, Skunk2 Cam Gears, Toda valve springs, crower Ti retainers with friction coating. Fuel pressure, AFR and Oil Pressure guages. Run a high quality synthetic oil like AMSOIL 10-40w change 3000-5000 miles depeding on PVC contamination. Running a catch can setup would help also, in fact would probably aid in 5-10hp when tuned.

Something like this takes planning and great care for any setup. Good luck.
