Hi, i have a p72-2 head that i gave to a friend of mind to rebuild at school for marks..... everything went well, the head was cleaned, resurfaced, checked for cracks and the valves and seats were reground...... but when it came time for new valve seals, we found that the valve STEMS were WAY too big...... much larger then any specs that we could find.. we even had a look at the B17 GSR specs but nothing seems to match up..... can anyone tell me if there is something special about this head.. i mean the valve train looks stock, but the stems are THICKER then spec by a long shot and this thing NEEDS valve seals.

Gsr heads have 5.5mm valve stems what are your measurements?
