Default GSR and LS crank difference

Is there any difference? I have a bare GSR block and a LS B18B1 crank..i was wondering if there is any difference? if i did use it would i need GSR rods and LS pistons or the other way around? Thanks in advance.

LS cranks have a longer stroke (89mm vs 87.2mm).

No, it drops right in. Just remember to spin balance that bish first. The LS crank wasn't machined to spin above 7K from the factory. A balanced one is good to ~9.5K if its done pretty well.
