GSR and LS crank difference

GSR and LS crank difference

Is there any difference? I have a bare GSR block and a LS B18B1 crank..i was wondering if there is any difference? if i did use it would i need GSR rods and LS pistons or the other way around? Thanks in advance.

LS cranks have a longer stroke (89mm vs 87.2mm).

if you use the ls crank, you have to use ls rods too.

How do you use LS crank in a gsr block??? wouldn't it be too long and stick out of the gsr block??

No, it drops right in. Just remember to spin balance that bish first. The LS crank wasn't machined to spin above 7K from the factory. A balanced one is good to ~9.5K if its done pretty well.
