Default GSR Intake Arm Q

Im in the processs of putting a GSR head/b16 block hybrid in my 93 Integra LS. All the parts are coming in on time and soon ill be able to swap it, but there is one problem. How am I going to get the intake to fit? My old generic intake is for 93 LS, and wont fit the gsr intake manifolds odd design. The GSR intake arm that would fit the manifold would need me to relocate the battery, something im not wanting to do. I somehow need to combine the intake arm of a GSR with the generic intake from my old LS. Any thoughts? Ideas? Has anyone seen/done this before?

Find a cutter, a welder, and some piping. Then have some fun with it.

I was thinking that maybe I could bend the stock LS intake arm to make it fit the mani. Then, if it doesnt reach all the way to the intake box, I woulld simply cut my generic intake off at the end and stick the metal piping out of the stock rubber tube. Get what im saying? What do you think?

I understand what you're saying, but I also have an idea. You could use this opportunity to go ahead and upgrade to a different intake manifold (like the AEBS for dirt cheap) and get an autozone intake tube and a good filter. You'd make a lot more power considering the better manifold and an intake without any bottlenecks or sharp bends.

Im not worried about making tons of power. Remember, Im keeping this manifold becuase I have a b16 bottom end, and I need all the torque in the midrange I can get. If all else fails, ill just have to relocate my battery to the rear and run a GSR intake, but I really dont want to. I need someone who has seen a GSR swap in a G2 Teg that has a clean, well done intake. Otherwise, I guess I'll just hack away at my generic arm untill I can get it to fit.
