im kinda curious as to what some have payed to have the head put on the b20??? i will keep searching... but appreciate any responses.

 

if the block is in the car already, than it should only cost for the labor of putting on the head. which is about 300-350 hopefully the vtec lines r in place, otherwise it will cost a little more. if the motor is not in place your looking around 700-900 for the labor on the swap. good luck.

i think those prices are kind of low....i definately would not do ab20vtec for under 500 labor!!! but that is just me...

 

For VTEC conversions:

R&R of head.
tap the head and resurface
New head gasket
New GSR oil pump
Steel braid oil lines
New exhaust mani gasket
new intake mani gasket

$800-900 would be a regular price range for a reputable shop.
lowballing shops may do it for $100-200 less.

 

why not do it yourself. its not hard.
