GSR or B16 tranny?

GSR or B16 tranny?

I recently broke my LS tranny on the track. So now I looking for a good strong tranny, that is going to help my time on the track as well.
My set up: Fully build LS block-GSR head T3/T04E @15 psi est. 400whp

Get a GSR tranny or the LS transmission again.

SIR/B16 tranny would have too short gears for a boosted engine.

I'd also go with the GSR tranny.

some guy told me a that a type r tranny compared to a gsr tranny is a half a second drop in a quarter mile... is he stupid or am i stupid for even being curious that thats possible?

Dude I was told the same thing. B16 and typeR have the same gears except for the final gear but of course type R is an stronger tranny. So I don't know.
