alright...here is the situation. When I'm am driving it is all good but once I hit exactly around 4k rpm I hear like a grinding noise. It doesn't matter what gear im in it still does it. Once I go past it the grinding stops. What could be the problem??? I don't think its has to do with chaning tranny fluid otherwise it would grind all the time instead of just at 4k rpm.

 

anyone got any ideas??? Any help would be appreciated

 

you've been power shifting too much i would say your synchros are scratched up. check your fluid level as well

 

Hmm...it also does it in neutral also. I have traced the sound and it comes from behind the intake manifold area.
