Default greyish/white smoke?

my friend was following me tonight and he said everytime i would get on the gas hard and in vtec my car would smoke greyish/white from the exhaust... it is pretty cold outside so i was thinking it maybe steam and some fuel but what do u all think it could be. i was told that greyish smoke = fuel, white = water, black = richness, blueish = oil, is that correct? but if someone could hep me out that would be coool thanks.....

Yep, you've got a handle on the smoke colors, except I would say white is coolant rather than just water. On stock fuel management car's run rich in VTEC. It's just how it is. You're okay as long as power is good and there is no oil in the coolant or coolant in the oil then you are fine.

cool thanks bro, i just did an oil change, my oil was fine, and my coolant has been full forever so i am not burning coolant. i have B&M Fpr and a spoon chipped ECU so thats prolly why it smokes when i get on it hard.... thanks tho dude...

the white he was seeing was prolly steam cuz it was like 40 degrees outside lastnight so..

nah... smoke is normal for b16a's... couple of buddies of mines had the same problem, at first we thought somebody pissed in their gas tanks, but after a couple of fill-ups, it was still there but everything ran smooth...???

Also the chipped ecu is probably making you run rich, thats all that it is I would say! Nothing to worry about!

also when i take the tube off the connects the valve cover hole and the hole in the intake a little bit of smoke comes outta the hole on the valve cover, but it smells like fuel and is greyish also, is that something that i should worry about?
