GReddy E-manage Ultimate Questions / Issues
I'll just copy and paste my e-mail to GReddy with the issues that I'm having. If anyone has any input I'd appreciate it!

Hello, I'm inquiring to ask for some help with some things in regards to your GReddy E-manage Ultimate. The E-manage Ultimate has been installed on a '98 Honda Prelude (H22a setting) and all connections have been soldered and double checked for connectivity. Firmware and software is v1.09.
1. ECT and IAT temperature readings
Wiring these in as specified in your manual produces less than satisfactory results. When you wire them up as specified in the manual each temperature sender sees a secondary ground path and reads quite low. 40-80F low to be more exact which causes an extremely rich condition by the factory ECU. Disconnecting these wires from the E-manage fixes this but does not allow for logging with the E-manage. What can be done to remedy this?
2. Erratic Ignition Timing
This is a link to a data log that I took from the E-manage Ultimate.

As can be seen via the yellow ignition pickup graph, the pickup seems VERY noisy as RPM's climb. It does not seem to be detonation as the ignition timing goes right back to its previous level before the spike. Coincidently, when I set the E-manage Ultimate to use the factory RPM signal to pick up the RPMs it begins to spike at the same time as the ignition timing spikes. This is a log using RPM signal pickup instead of the crank angle pickup used above. The timing has also been retarded 4 degrees to ensure it's not detonation.

Why does this happen and what can be done to fix it? As it's very disconcerting to see as possible detonation, which is doubtful as the car is completely stock and the coincidence shown above.
3. Extreme ignition timing numbers
Occasionally, the ignition timing readout will go from anywhere near -34 to 130 randomly. I know it's not my install as other people have reported this as well. I'm assuming it's the E-manage missing a firing signal from the ECU. Is there anything being done to fix this? As missing ignition events is a big issue.
Thus far these are the main issues that I've seen with the E-manage Ultimate and I'd like to know if there is anything that can be done to fix them or if they were being worked upon.
Thanks for your help
