okay here goes. what is the deal are the vendors idiots or am i buying the wrong parts??

1st cap=from napa, mounting holes and actual cap to large

2nd cap= from acura, mounting different and cap to large same cap as above

wich cap do i order??? the motor is a jdm gsr motor it is i believe a 94 i cannot locate the right cap. please help

 

i had the same problem. I order one off a B16A (Del Sol VTEC) it didn't work then got another one ( I think ITR or obdII GSR ) and it worked fine

 

So what you are saying is the jdm engines obd1 use the same cap and rotor button as a obd2 b series vtec distributor?

94-96 Integra LS, RS
P/N: 30102-P54-006

97-98/00-01 Integra GS-R, Type-R
P/N: 30102-P72-006


As you can see, the Integra LS/RS shares the same part # as what's used on the B16a's. However, the GSR and Type-R are using another part. I don't see why they aren't interchangable, but there seems to be different part #s for a reason.
