Default getting the tranny back onto the block...

i have me and my younger step brother doing it. i have taken out the radiator and tried to clear a path, but this this is like hell to realign, get the teeth to match from the main shaft and the block and to get the dowels to align...

Is there any tips from any of you to make this a little less painless?

*edit* this is a 96 B18C in a 95 eh2... *edit* It would help if i could take the bracket for the tranny mount out, but it is welded into the chassis

put a jack underneath with one guy under and another up top and wiggle it back and forth. until you can put 1 bolt on each side

I just had my brother bench the tranny up while I guided it from the top and it took like 10 sec. The tranny should slide up pretty easy. Do not force it in. If it doesn't want to go something is not lined up.
