Default Getting rid of superglue

I've had superglue residue on my gauges for awhile, and I cant seem to get it off. I've tried nail polish remover, but that didnt work. Nothing really seems to want to take it off.
Any suggestions?

check and make sure that the nail polish remover is acetone. some of them aren't anymore. you can get acetone in a can from Home Depot in the paint section.

but acetone will most likely ruin the finish of the gauges

If its a ture cynoacrylate (super glue) it will break down under warm soapy water. Soake a paper towel and tape it to the gage face cover that with a piece of plastic (to keep it from drying up too soon, leave it for an hour or two. Then just wipe the super glue off.
