getting a new clutch got some questions ....please help
im getting a new clutch for my 92 jdm b16a and i have a couple questions please help me out
I got a new clutch when i got my motor swap done about a year ago and i was told it was a brand new act stage 2 streeet/strip clutch...well any way it grabs too hard for me so im just getting a stock clutch, but im wondering what clutch do i order? area all b-series hydro tranny clutches the same or what?
Also i see some people selling their used clutches, think i would be able to sell my act? it only has about 10,000 miles on it, if so how much is it worth
thanks

they arnt the same but they will fit, when u order it just get a jdm b16 clutch. and it matters wut kinda of tranny u have either LSD or non-LSD.
and as far as selling ur ACT stage 2 i have no idea matters how worn out it is, if it messed up ur better of just throwing it away. i like slick clutchs 2 anyway, and stage 3. those are my favriot

any b series clutch will fit... but that dosnt mean they will work. when u order one they ask u wut u need and the specifications of the motor.

misinformation is all i can say
the only differencs between ANY b series clutch is the input spline diameter
if the tranny is a j1/s1 cable tranny it will use the same clutch as a 90-91 integra with a b18
if it a YS1 tranny it will use the same exact clutch as a 94-00 but instead of a hydro TOB it will use the same TOB as the 90-91 ttranny because it is cable also
hydro B16, hydro B18 and B20 all use the same exact clutch/flywheel PEORIOD
the only thing that determines whether the clutch is different is the transmission
every b series uses the same flywheel, the same pressure plate and the exact same clutch disk diameter and they all use the same pilot bearing
if you have any more questions feel free to ask

thanks a lot that was very informative......so the spline diameter for all hydro b series clutches are the same?...and which throw out bearing do i use on my y21?

a Y21 is a cable tranny if i am not mistaken
if it is a cable tranny you should use the a release bearing from a 90-93 integra
and dookee
youy need to stop making retarded posts, almost every post i have read of yours today was either misinformed or totally incorrect or just plain stupid
there is no difference between any b series clutch besides spline size and release bearing, THAT IS IT.
you need to seriously think before you post because you may cause someone problems with their vehicle because of your inability to do research
do not take this as a direct attack but as constructive critisizm
