Getting to 200 whp in a B16?
You cannot reach 200 WHP unless you do major internal work. You are looking at like running a larger bore piston, wild cams, individual throttle bodies would help. Your head would have to be worked pretty heavy. Oversize valves might help. Then you gotta worry about losing TQ. Just remember TQ gets you there, HP keeps you there. Buy the jun stroker kit. they guarantee like 250 WHP after tuning.
My friend has a complete CTR setup.....and some machine work. He can turn around 11 grand. His HP rating is only like 178 but he runs smooth 13's.

your setup with the blue line was so much better in the midrange. i think you should have stayed with that. what cams are you running in the second setup?
Like TimoneX said, things would be different on the 1320.Just because the car can reach 200 hp on a dyno doesnt mean its gonna be fast as every other car that hits 200 hp also.one major factor that no one has mentioned is TORQUE.Torque is what really moves a car and you can feel it also.HP is just a number thats given over a certain amount of time. im sure itwould be easy to get 200 hp from a b16...but at what rpm range would it be at?????I can bet the rpm range will be so high that low end will suck ballls and be a lousy daily driver.

For one.. it's my friends car. For two, if you haven't noticed, it's hitting 140 lbs. ft. of torque to the wheels which is more than a stock prelude puts out to the wheels. For a 1.6 litre, that's pretty damn good.
I agree with you on the blue line for daily driving. He just wanted to hit 200 so he did it to see.. and it worked. 207 to be exact. For an all motor B16A that's pretty ******* awsome. He did a great job.
High 13's.
