Hello--

MY car has been down for almost three years. Im rebuilding the motor so everything in there is fresh.

In terms of seals, and other maintenance, what should I do? My tranny has been sitting in my garage, it has a small spiderweb in the bell housing lol.. other than removing it, should I take it apart to inspect it?

What other things should I look into?

edit - New throw out bearing needed? New pilot bearing needed? New input shaft bearing needed? just a few of the things that popped into my head. Should I worry about these?

put some fresh oil in your tranny

yeh I plan on doing that

I guess I should be a little more specific. Should I open the case of the tranny and change any bearings or anything in there, while its off the car? Ill take some pics of the clutch and see if I need anything new for that also.

Im getting a bottom end gasket kit also.

do I need to drain the gas and change it?

anything else?
