Gearbox oil leak?

There was a big puddle of oil under my car yesterday i thought it was the stump gasket so i replaced it. i started the car and oil started pooring out of the gearbox? it only comes out when the car is turned on
how can i fix this?

please take some pics from the right side up, it took me forever to figure out that angle, lol? what do you mean "stump" gasket, I have no idea what you are talking about. but from the looks of things is looks like you are pouring oil out of the inspection cover.
more than likely it is your rear main seal, is it was transmission related it wouldnt leak if the car was not moving (because the car is standard shift).
if that is the seal you replace, than you did it wrong, its easy to roll the lip of the seal. apply a light coat of grease or oil to it before installing it, and that should help.
if its pouring oil out that bad than it probaly got on the clutch, regardless if you drove it or not. if oil is on the clutch than it needs to be replaced, it will chatter and cause all sorts of problems down the road. you dont need a clutch kit if it is newer, just the disc. dont forget to clean all the oil out of the bellhousing.
