Gauge cluster stoped Working
i was remounting a GSR cluster in my 98 civic .. and back uped .. went down the street then Speedo.. tach.. ect just stoped working.. I turned the car on the checked the voltage on them and there getting voltage through them so woudl anyone know if any fueses or what wire would take out the cluster.. mind that the battery icon does show up when ing. turned on.
sorry to steal you thread, but I have a similar problem too if anyone can help. I gotta EG and my dash lights don't work sometimes. Not just the cluster the whole dash (cluster, defroster switch, illum switch, heater controls...etc)
It sounds like you have a loose connection. My friend is having the same problem on his prelude. He can kick the wiring harness under his dash and EVERYTHING stops working, he can kick it a few more times and it will come back on. We have been to lazy to try and figure out what is not connected good though.
i dont belive its a loose connection cause i checked and each connetion is getting voltage when started up .. so i was wodnering what fuses would go with the cluster
My cluster went out in my ITR, I can't remember which fuse it was, but your problem doesn't sound like a blown fuse if the batttery light is working, pull the gauge cluster and make sure all the connections are good.
