Gauge cluster and dome light question
To me this seems like a stupid question, but I can't find the answers I'm looking for.
Here's the skinny:
I've got an 88 Accord LX-i. The dome light comes on for the front doors but not the rear. I noticed the other day that if I unplug the gauge cluster, the dome kicks off entirely. I then also noticed that I was lacking lights in the cluster for the rear doors.
My question: Is there a difference between the two door and four door models in regards to the gauge cluster? The courtesy lights on the rear doors come on so I know the switches are good. It's not a huge deal, but I would like to have things working if they aren't. If the dome wasn't ever meant to come on with the rear doors, then I guess nothing is wrong.
Thanks.
