Default gasket questions

we replacing a headgasket for a b18b1 engine, does anyone know if a headgasket made for a b16 will fit? buddy works at honda and gets them 20 bucks off

also im installing my header on saturday and i guess they dont come w/any gaskets. is it okay to reuse my original header-head gasket w/20k miles, and also is the header-cat gasket the same as the stock one (size wise)...so will it fit around the collector, im assuming i definately need to replace that one...

The header gaskets ususally work, if reused again, but if you have an exhaust leak, you may want to fix that. Or just be like me and not care, and hear a steady put from your car.

As for the headgasket, NO. 1.8l vs 1.6l and im sure they both have different bore sizes, and i know that the alignment dowel's are in different spots on each engine.

Actually, they are both the same bore, but some of the dowel pins and oil holes are in different places. So you HAVE to use one for the B18A/B
