Default Gas mileage modifications!

ok, so ive been thinking alot about my gas mileage lately for some reason and I starting thinking of ways of getting better mpg. I have a 96 ex civic, and was thinking maybe having a transmission with longer gears would help, maybe a cx transmission or lighter wheels like some HXs? obviously keeping it tuned up and driving like a grandma helps, I get about 32-35 mpg driving 80% highway. does anyone else know of some good mods that would help or even if a cx transmission would do anything. Any ideas would be cool guys!
