i was wondering how accurate this thing is. I know that the mph is pretty much off but the 1/4 ive heard is pretty accurate about .1 over or under. Anoyone know if this is true?

 

i think its off one time it said that i ran a 14.97 w/ my d16y8 w/only i/e and act clutch

 

if calibrated properly it is quite accurate. but you have to make sure it's level, and the surface you test on has to be level as well.

 

ive personally seen this my self... so its as true as you will believe

i was at carlsbad raceway in so cali and i saw a new mustang GT and i saw it had GTECH and i saw it ran 13.95 on GTECH so i was like what did you run that pass from the track and he said 14.0 so that time it was 5-100th of a second off
and then i tested a GSR with my buddie and he ran similar times as he would at the track...
my personal best was 6.35 0-60 with like 13whp worth of mods agianst a factory time of 6.6 in the 0-60

 

Guess my 13.? pass was a little off, Timeslip said 15.5........

Yes I did rezero it.

 

i dunno how acurate mine is, but its pretty consistant.
