Fuses are blowing left and right!!!
Just installed Factory fog lights on to 00 Civic Si now having problems with main headlight fuse blowing in the engine compartment. I have phillips H.I.D. for the headlamps and just converted the factory Raybrigs with H.I.D.s also. The fuse in the engine bay is a 30amp. fuse for the H.I.D. headlamp is 20 also. fuse for the Raybrig H.I.D. is 15. Should I bump up to a 40 amp fuse for the engine compartment?
you could bump up to a stronger fuse, but you should probably first check your connections, and make sure nothing is sticking out, as shorts happen when open wires are exposed to the elements. make sure everything is grounded properly, and u have no exposed wires before jumping up to a bigger fuse, because if you have something exposed, the bigger fuse is gonna blow, too...
Do not put in a larger fuse. Fuses have amp ratings for a reason. They protect the wire harness by blowing before the wire insulation starts to melt.
Either keep the current draw within the fuse's rating, or find a way to power the fog lights from another point through the appropriately sized fuse.

Prolly be easier to find a lower wattage headlamp or just temporarily returning them to stock to pinpoint a cause...
just as Perfectionist wrote.. DO NOT go higher than the specified amp rating on the fuse.. I have smoked a dashboard and door wiring harness by "upping" the amperage rating during diag procedures(yes, I make mistakes too!).....
