Default fuse for headlight keeps blowing

my left bulb for my headlight wasnt working so i had it replaced and at the same time they changed the fuse for it. so today i was going to work and i turn on my lights and once again my left side doesnt turn on. so im thinking its the fuse. what could be causing the fuse to blow. they are for hids.

check the wires *especially red and black* that are in your STOCK wire harnesses, then check the other wires for your HID kit harnesses. <--- do it if you've PNP HID Kit....

i recall having PLENTY (12) fuses blown because of a simple "red wire touching black wire" by my H4 bulb socket. just a thought.

changed the fuse from 20a to 25a and it worked fine for a couple of weeks. now it went out again. should i run a bigger fuse or should i keep using 30.

NEVER replace a fuse with a larger one!

you risk lighting your car on fire.

Make a new harness, that draws its power directly from the battery.

Using a large wire guage.. 12-10 AWG...

so it would go like this:

Bat->8-12inches of 12-10AWG wire->30A Fuse->12-10AWG->relay->light

if the fuse is blowing, its cause you are asking too much from the stock wiring...
