So, I've been working the last several weekends swapping an obd1 b16 in to my 88 crx hf. I was so excited going in to this morning because I knew today would be the day I start it for the first time. The problem is, when I turn the key on the fuel relay opens and closes at an intense rate. At first I thought something was vibrating real loud.
The motor turns over but doesn't start.
I believe it is giving me a code 4. Possible I wired it incorrectly. I only tied in one wire and left the other one hanging. (?)
This did not occur before swap.
I am using a p30 ecu.

I do not believe any of the wiring I did My self would have caused this. Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

 

Ground wire at thermostat housing.

 

It was 100% ground wire at thermostat housing. Still have code 4 though. Tonight i go through my cheap distributor harness, wire by wire. Thank you.
