Id like to replace my failing fuel pump in my 94 Si with a newer gsr/itr unit. Is this a plug&play afair?

Default Re: fuel pump swapping (POS Hatchback)

factory fuel pump to an ITR or GSR should be just the same.

It's very simple to do. you just remove the chrome plate, unplug the 2 harnesses, then there is about eight or so 10 mm bolts. Disconnect the hoses, remove the pump and reverse the process

You also might want to have a rag just incase fuel pressure is still up there. I would wait a while after driving the car before you change anything though.
