fuel pressure bleed quick question
I was just wondering if you could tell me how to bleed off the fuel pressure. i am sure it is pretty easy but i just need some pointers. i have allready searched but come up with nothing. thanks
how close to the fuel pressure regulator is the filter. the thing is my friend has a leaky fuel rail the gas is leaking out of a bolt on the top right top of the fuel rail. i was told to bleed the fuel line and take the bolt out and replace it with teflon tape around it but wont the gas. melt the teflon tape.

Don't use any sealer or tape on fuel fittings.

ok to get rid of the bulit up fuel pressure then u should take the gas cap off to relieve the tank pressure, then disconnect the fuel pump fuse and attemp to crank the car over a few times...it will not start and the fuel pressure will be completely relieved. Once that is done then take the banjo bolt off and replace the seal washer, and if the bolt is bad replace that to and it should be good to go.
