Default fuel injector cycle frequency

Hello, I'm entirely new here, but thought there might be someone out there who could answer a question of mine. I have a set of what I am guessing are stock injectors, off of what I seem to remember was a 93 accord. I'm not sure of the engine, but believe that it was either the 1.5 or 1.8. I purchased the injectors, rail, regulator, and fp from a junk yard for a motorcycle project. What I need to know now is, what kind of duty cycle frequency are these injectors capable of? I'm planning on using these injectors in a set frequency variable duty cycle application, and would like to know if I can get at least 100 cycles per second out of them. I understand that this is probably not how they are intended to work (as in the timed multiport situation where they started). So, anyone with any insight into injectors, or even an oscilloscope and some free time, please let me know what you think. Thanks

Daniel

At 6000 rpm each injector fires 50 times per second. So you want to cycle twice as fast.

I don't know if they can, I just thought I'd put that out for comparison...

Thanks for the response, I understand that I'm talking about pushing the injectors to or past their limits. My bike, an '82 cb900c redlines at 9.5 k, so at redline, I would see about 80 Hz if I'm going to get one pulse per combustion cycle. I don't know where the automotive engines top out, but I thought that 100 Hz might be an achievable goal. I do have another question. What is the amplitude of the injector signal? Do they run on a switching ground 12v signal, or is it 5v like other electronics? Again, thanks for the help.

The ones I know get constant battery voltage (14v) and the ECU switches the ground side of the circuit. There's some that should be wired with resistors in the circuit, but I don't know the circuit details or which years Honda used those.

Highest redline Honda is S2000. I don't know whether it's injectors are any different. Otherwise, I had a '95 Integra with 8k redline, so they're getting up there. A '93 Accord with F22 engine has a lower redline, but I don't know what it is. The injectors are probably capable of going fast enough for you, but I don't know that for sure. They'll probably lose some precision at the high end of your range.
