Default Frying ECU's

A buudy of mine has a 97 LS Integra and every so often it will totally fry the ECU..We change the ECU and the car starts up and runs fine. when the ECU dies it wont Idle and turn off. We have gone through about 4 ECU's and even did the OBD1 conversion and the same thing happens. What could be a possible cause of this?.. Im going nuts here.We know its not as simple as resetting the computer because we tried one of the dead computers in someone elses car and it doesn't work...

you might have a ground or a direct short to ground problem?! check all ground wires, you could have hot wires crossing other wires, it is weird that the fuse does not blow!

I thought that was weird too that it doesnt blow the fuse. I dont know whether to try replacing the dash harness or the engine harness.
