FRONT DC2 shocks on EK?
Ok I just got my Buddy Club Racing Spec's in, but they're for a DC2 and I have an EK. I hate it when I'm shipped the wrong parts. I *think* I can use the front ones in my EK just fine, but I'm not 100% sure. Might save me a little bit on the shipping if I only have to send back the rears. Anybody know if I can just slap the DC2 front ones on my EK hatch? Thanks!
As far as i know the fronts will work just fine (they did in my friends EK hatch), but seeing as you have to send back the rears, i would just send all 4 back and get what you paid for in the first place.
Hmm, given the modular design of the Buddy Clubs, I think all I need is the lower "cup" for an EK where it attaches to the lower control arm. Here's some pics to illustrate:

See how the lower "cup" is threaded (part of the height adjustment scheme) and comes completely off. If I could just exchange these for the EK "cups" then I'd be set... I think?

Cary, the fronts will fit just fine, but the back wont because those are for the JDM DC2... the rear lower control arms are different from US spec. Looks nice though
I guess more down time for the Tein's?? Oh well, make sure u get the right parts.

Those buddy clubs look suspicously like Tien's to me.

They all look alike to me! But now that you mention it, it does kind of look like a Tein... but then again it looks kinda like a Zeal B6 as well. Weird. The taper on the lower mounting cup on the BC's is a little steeper than in the pic of that Tein though. Maybe they're made by the same company, who knows.
Also, looks like your shock's damping adjustment is the exact same also.
Tell me, how many way adjustable are your shocks?

I'm not sure how many way adjustable it is. But I did some research and the BC's are mfg'd by a company called "First". In fact there's the companies symbol "F" stamped on the body of the BC shocks. Hope that helps...
