Default Friction Damper on Counter Shaft

The friction dampers on the counter shaft, is that a part that will typically wear out? I'm looking at replacing bearings and I'm just wondering if it's a good idea to replace the friction dampers too.

Thanks!

I've only seen a few transmission rebuilds and each time they replaced the friction dampers. They don't come with the synchro set though, they must be ordered by themselves.

Thanks! Turns out they are only about $25 so I ordered them along with some bearings
