Default four wire o2 sensor works w two wire?

my two wire o2 sensor on my crx is bad, i have a good tegra one laying around but it has four wires. anyone know if i can rewire the teg o2 to work w my two wires

I am not positive but I believe the 4 wire is a "heated" oxygen sensor. where the two wire and one wire are heated by the exhaust. This causes a rich condition until it warms up, bad emissions. Bottome line is that if the old sensor has X wires then the new sensor must have X wires too!

Your car just won't have any wires to connect to the heater. That would sort-of work, but I don't know if the actual sensor element is the same.
