i run stock 18lbs (b16a/b18c1/b17a/b18b flywheel), as well as ITR (15.5lbs) as well as shaved stock b16a to 12lbs then ran JUN/Cusco/Toda (8.5lbs) units.

basically I find the shaved 12lbs as best overall perfrmance and overall feeling in the car. the lighter JUN/Cusco units feel very well but I find it slightly too light, for the torquless b16a....

look into the ACT XACT flywheel they make it in 8 and 12lbs cost around $225shipped or so.

take it to a machine shop let them take the weight off /machine off the material. then get it balanced and resurfaced. about $100-150 price tag in which case it might be more cost effective and more reliable to get a XACT.

my shaved to the extreme ITR flywheel

another done by honda only shop. looks alot better then above and properly balanced as well . above flywheel might develop or loose the ring gear after a while.

if you're gonna replace your fly, might as well go with an aftermarket fly, and for street use, somewhere between the line of 11-13 lbs is perfect (but that's imo ofcourse).
