Default Flushing Power Steering Fluid

I noticed that the power steering fluid in my R and LS is blacker than my oil and was wondering if you guys knew how to properly flush it.

TIA

Lift the front wheels off the ground; use jackstands.

Disconnect the hoses to the reservoir, put 'em in a bucket. There's not a lot of room to put a bucket in there so it's a PITA. I haven't figured out how to do this without making a mess. Try the cooler line in front of the radiator.

Start the engine & steer the wheels full lock back & forth a few times to empty out the system. Don't leave the engine running any longer than you have to.

Put it back together & fill it. Start the engine & turn the wheels back & forth. The fluid will be all foamy, so let it settle (20min?) Fill & do it again, until it doesn't foam any more.

If you wanted to use gallons of fluid, you could extend the pump-suction hose to a big bucket of clean fluid, and dump the return fluid instead of putting it back into that bucket. I've never bothered to do it that way.
