Any thoughts? Last one is a bit expensive for me.

I replaced my $100 crapsman jack with the one in the top link up there. So far, so good. On sale it's like $40 or $50. My car isn't too low but I still need to lift it with the stock jack before i can fit this thing under there though. Also, when you twist the handle to lower the jack, it will fall very quickly, it is harder to control this jack compared to most other jacks i've used. But for $40 I have to say it outperforms the craftsman jack by a mile.

If i ever buy a jack again, it will be an AC jack. I just can't justify spending $300+ on a jack at this point.

ya guys i feel i must post

i had one of those full aluminum jacks from crasftman, and it sucked *****. it went dead about 1 month after the shitty warranty expired.

i went back and argued withthe salesman about it because it sucked so bad. they gave me in exchange one of the steeel/aluminum units. it sucks too. but it least its still working.

id advise whoever is looking at the aluminum jacks to compare it very carefully to the crapsman jack. id imagine that 3/4 of them are created in the same chinese factory.

I'll probably swing by Walmart to day to see what the warranty is like on their jacks. If that doesn't work out, should I just go with Schucks for their one year warranty? HF's is 90-day.

Well I went to Walmart and got one made by General Motors for $30 and it has a one year warranty so we'll see how this goes.

I have the second jack and it has worked great for me for almost 2 years, and it gets used A LOT, and has even been left in the rain a couple times (not to mention having coolant and oil splashed on it).
Mine did not have the pin with it to lock the two pieces of handle together, but a $.15 bolt fixed that, and the jack still works perfectly after quite a bit of abuse.

Well I returned the one I bought from Walmart because it could barely even lift my Camry. I followed the air purging directions a couple times and still nothing.
