the damn FHP pulled me over this morning saying i had an illegal exaust, he said anything other than stock is illegal. now i have 2.25 piping to just a muffler (revolution carbon fiber)

so now in 30 i have to get a new exaust........how the hell can i get around this crap, and is there really this other than stock law in Florida????

Call your local and state police..Ask them to read the law to you, and or send it..If they can't, they are full of **** and they must think you will just pay the ticket.

 

We get the same kind of problem up here in Maine. Non-Oem exhausts, and tires that do not match car manufacturers specs for size are considered illegal here. Funny thing is, people can raise theyre trucks and put huge tires on them, Harleys can be as loud as they want to be, and classic cars are never stoppped. Guess its a small price to pay for driving an import. Fight the ticket, make a statement in front of the judge and waste the FHP's time and if your lucky he won't show and you will get out of the ticket, otherwise at least you will get your opinion out!
