Default first car first wreck!

was on my way to get my type r kit when i missed an exit and thought i could still make it but ended up locking up my wheel and sliding into a curb at about 40mph. now i'm faced with the decision of fixing the car or junking it. need some opinions about the damage. what's broken, is it worth fixing, and so on... i took a look at the suspension myself, all i could really see is the broken bolt on the lower control arm and maybe a bent shock. frame is probably bent too. not an expert though so here's the pics.

airbags did more harm than good. broke my windshield and slammed my wrist against the side window.

my poor rim

Sorry to see that Id say the frame is probably bent, instead of just junking it and getting nothing,I would get a whole left side suspension from the junk yard, install it,have an alignment shop align it the best they can and then sell it for something.

to me i can tell defenitly you need a rear crossmember rack and pinion, axle rim tire spindle LCA upeer control arm airbags airbag computerand complete strut assembly i am sure you can fix this and i doubt that the thing has frame damage if youwere local i would be able to help you it isnt that hard of a job to do but it just takes a little time

edit: fender and winshield also

thanks for the replies. lol. why koala? u wanna buy it? probably gonna keep it as a souvenir. hang it up on my wall. got an estimate at a shop. they told me $3g to get it fixed so gonna bring it to the city tomorrow, let the mexicans see what they could do with it. worst case is i get it fixed in the city and if it doesnt run good i'll sell it. always like the 99-00 hb's better anyway, and yes definitely get it in stick this time, but having second thoughts about hookin up my car anymore. maybe it was a sign tellin me not to blow my money on my car. lol.

you should do the work yourself. like stripped honda said it will take time. i had a friend that had a NOS kit put in his 2002 celica GTS and that very night he got hit by a drunk driver in the rear driver side wheel area. I didn't think it was fixable because of the extent of damage but the insurance co. said "fix it ". $10,000. bucks of damage!!!! so anything is fixable, the question is do you want to take the time and money to fix it? good luck gloria

if you really want to keep it you might be able to find a clip and have a EXPERIENCED body shop that has done clipping and have them put it onto your car. also i see you have tein s techs. at least thats what they look like. idk id strip it sell the good parts on ebay and junk it.

went to a shop yesterday. they gave me an estimate of $1265 to do everything except the airbags cause i'm not too sure what i wanna do about em. i don't really wanna put any airbags in even though i may not pass inspection. thinkin about gettin a jdm steering wheel. anyone have any ideas about what i could do with the airbags? next set of rims, volk gt-n's i saw down at the city for $780 with tires. could somebody say bootleg? they still look nice though.
