Default Firing order

Why is my firing order different then this? I tried this one and my car didn't start. Tried on my friend that works for honda told me and worked. It's like crossed. 1 is where 4 is, 2 is where 3 is, 4 is where 1 is, and 3 is where 2 is. so it's 1-2-4-3, instead of 4-3-1-2. Can anyone elaborate?

your dizzy becomes 180 out when you don't stab it in right, and yes it will cause the car to run different

Most honda dist. keys are made so that you cant install them 180 degrees out, the dist. wont sit flush.

No that is just wrong. The rotor will be contacting a point that is two cylinders off of the injector pulse.

So could the dizzy be installed wrong? I tried rotating the rotor 180 and putting it on the cam and it won't go in.

did you some how put the rotor on 180 out? is sounds like you have the dizzy on right if it wont go on when you rotated it.

ahhh found the problem. Original owner of the motor put the key on the dizzy 180 wrong way. So i had to take the pin out then move the key 180 degrees and put the pin back in.
