Default Final Drive: Actual performance numbers?

Heres the story, I need a new tranny. Right now my b16 synchros are in really bad shape, and I dont want to rebuild my own tranny. So, my question is, is it really worth it to jump for the ITR tranny? Does anyone have any before and after 1/4mile times with a 4.4->4.7 FD? Or anything other then a butt dyno? Basically Im losing to chipped 1.8T's by a length and a half my 5000rpm in 3rd gear. All I really care about is shutting up my cocky Euro buddies. Will an ITR tranny help me accomplish this?
