Anyone have any problems with this controller? If you have did it ever throw a map sensor code? Just curious cuz I think thats the reason for my weird stalling/bogging problem. Any input?

 

ok you plugged it in wrong prolly ust look at it again and fix it. its either hooked up wrong or just not tightlly on.and it will throw a map if you do it wrong.

 

The SFC Vtec is a P.O.S.! I hated that thing when I had it. I had it hooked up right (had the Fields directions and also help from other people). Car would drive fine for months then just decide to trip out. Got MAP sensor codes and the car would just stall. Finally had enough driving down Wilshire Blvd in LA and having it stall at every stop. Ripped that thing off and sold it. I have heard of plenty of complaints about the same thing and it just seems like it's one of the drawbacks of that product.

 

There is no plugging it in wrong. Its been hooked up for 1 1/2 and no probs till now. Map sensor codes 3 and 5 and the car stalls out and bogs down at any given time. Anyone else think this could be the fields?
