SFC have a tendency to get shatty after a while, and mess (throw mil code) with the Map sensor.

well since i already have one i guess i'll just use it, but i am gonna hide it in the glove box
I have the fields, and like Katman said they start falling apart after a while. If I hit a hard bump in the road my car will start missing and throw a engine light. It rarely happens now that I have mounted the unit better but it still sucks to have to deal with that BS when you don't have to.

I had problems with the SFC throwing codes but I'm pretty sure it was the wiring loom because I've had no problems since I soldered the wires straight to the circuitboard.
never had a VAFC, so no comments there.
but I used Fields and my review is mixed. basically depending on what you got, so will tend to cause problems others will not. mine is fine 90% of the time.
but once it gets really cold (around -10-30*C) damn thing causes problem. others don't have that problem involved with it.
