Fan stays on even on cold engine.
I have a 1992 Prelude, H23A3, and after getting an engine swap done, if i turn my car off the fan will stay on. Even if it has been sitting in the garage for the whole day, if i turn it on just to move the car to the spot beside it, the fan will continue to stay on for 15 minutes. Previously, no fan would stay on, even in the blazing middle of summer after a 2 hour drive. I live in Ontario, Canada, and right now its pretty chilly at night as well.
I know its normal for the fan to sometimes turn on and stay on for 15 minutes but is it supposed to do that even if the engine is cold?

no it shoudnt eitheir 2 problems faulty fan switch which is located on the thermostat housung or the relay is stuck in the open position if im not mitaken it located under the hood in the fuse box
I believe the prelude also uses a fan timer. Its probably a bad fan switch. Check here
