i just purchased a comp cam stage and i was wondering how i could tell if its not a fake cam
any way to tell the difference between this one and the stock one?
basically im tryin to make sure i actually got the right cam and not some p.o.s cam cuz i bought it off a guy, not from the company

normally there will be a stamp on either side of the camshaft stating what model and stage it is.... if it doesnt have that stamp, then compare the camshaft to one thats stock then go from there

are there any letters/numbers/markings on the cams?

Take a picture, go to we-todd-did-racing.com and create an acct. You will need to upload your pics onto there server from you hard drive. Then it will give you a URL like. http://thisisyourpic.jpg Then post that link on here and we can look at them.
