FAILURE! fuel pump or...while trying to load on the trailer for dyno
hello all,
another issue with this jynx of a car we have built. car ran fine yesterday...didnt touch a thing over night and went to load it on the trailer to go to the dyno and the fuel pump decides not to turn on. i turn the key and the CEL comes on so the ecu seems fine and the main relay should be fine. ( swapped it out ) i tried a new fuel pump also and still nothing. i pulled BOTH fuse boxes out and removed each fuse to make sure none were blown. NONE were blown...a month straight of wrenching on this car to come to this the day of dyno time and epic failure!
any advice would be greaaaaaatly appreciated guys!
Thanks.
Luke

Is there any chance of an alarm cutting the pump off? Did you check with a meter or test light at the pump, relay or anywhere else while the key was turned to on?
the car doesnt have any alarm, i tried another ecu tonight, still no pump. (motor still cranks tho) im going to try another main relay tomorrow...and ill check the pump with a meter tomorrow. can you test it right at the plug above the pump/gas tank?
Are you getting the 3RD click from the main relay? I know the A.S.G fuse (15amp) in the interior fuse box controls power to the main relay. Also the Back-UP fuse (7.5amp)and ECU fuse {15amp}(In the engine bay fuse box)partially control the fuel pump circuit. Check those. -Later, BR
