setup is ls/vtec ~11.5:1 compression, ctr cams at 2, -1 dc 4-1 header and new cat, timing set at 9degrees, new oil etc. stock p28 program. fp at 41psi

i didnt think i would do that bad but next thing im gonna try is switchin to stock header, cams back to 0, 0, stock filter box. only thing i thought was weird was my results at 25mph dnt look that bad compared to 15 mph where it was more then twice as bad

do you have a working cat? if not, get one.

do you have your ecu chipped or have a motor swap? borrow a stock ecu for a couple hours

if not, get a tune up, replace spark plugs, retard the timing. that should get you to pass.

ok i think using a stock p28 ecu was a bad idea. i just compared the stock maps for p72 and p28 provided by hondata and in the areas between 2000-2600 rpms, the p28 runs slightly richer vs the p72 and timing is about 4 degrees higher in the same areas on the p28
