Default FAILED emissions test.. need help

damnit!
for all of you who have gone through this crap, i need your help!

this is an ls/vtec with just over 6,000 miles on it.
it has 11.4:1 RW pistons, a stock 00 ITR head, PR3 ecu with mugen chip, 2 year old cat and o2 sensors, 390cc injectors, BKR7E plugs gapped to .034", 93 octane, and ~10 degrees ignition timing.

i have my VAFC settings to -32 at 1k, -23 at 2k, and -23 at 3k
(because my car seems to like these settings)

here are my readings from my test....

25 mph test at 1800rpm___________15mph test at 1799rpm
__________STD____ MINE_________STD_____MINE
HC(PPM)___216_____324__________223_____397
CO%______1.39____0.57__________1.26____0.46
CO2%_____________14.2 _________________13.8
O2%_______________0.6__________________1.2
NOx(ppm)__1592____1289_________1744____1877
Dilution_____>6_____14.8__________>6______14 .3

i figure my car is running rich(??) but leaning out with my VAFC anymore than where its set to now causes my car to run really rough and knock.

please help!

edit: cleared up my readings a bit

I'm not a pro at this sort of thing, but isn't the mugen chip bad for this sort of thing? Maybe if you could use a Stock ECU for the test you would yeild better numbers. Just a thought, anyone agree? disagree?

mugen chip + 390 injectors = super rich...

I offer a chip for emissions for the PR3 ecu.

yeah but i've tried 2 different stock chips ( i have a socket). one was the original i pulled from my ECU and the other was one i had a guy send me and NEITHER works. they both give me dead ECU codes. i've made sure that the socket has good contact points on the board.

and putting the mugen chip back in works everytime.

i wonder if my ECU, for whatever reason, will even accept a stock chip now.

You definately need to get rid of the Mugen chip for smog purposes. The Mugen chip will make you run real rich
