Default Failed emissions 4th TIME! HELP!!!

The first two times I went I barely failed the 15mp CO standard 1.20 with 1st time 2.82, 2nd time 3.85. Everything else was fine. Before second trip I replaced only the air filter thinking my car didn’t get enough oxygen at low speed, It already had new Exhaust system & Cat converter.

3rd time before going replaced O2 sensors, Dizzy Cap/Rotor, Oil Change, Vtec Oil Pressure Switch (went bad), Main Relay (went bad), Emissions gaurantee pass gas crap & later Seafoam in oil/gas/TB, and failed even worse!

HC 15mph Standard 212 failed with 266

CO 25mph Standard 1.33 failed with 3.02
CO 15mph Standard 1.20 failed with 4.22

So the last thing I did was adjust my timing which was off before going for the 4th time and yet again I failed even worse!!

HC 25mph Standard 206 failed with 244
HC 15mph Standard 212 failed with 254

CO 25mph Standard 1.33 failed with 5.22
CO 15mph Standard 1.20 failed with 4.35

What the HELL am I doing wrong??

did you change your plugs and fuel filter? and when you replaced thing like the 02 sensor and the main fuel relay did you reset your ecu? i know they are stupid questions but gotta ask.

what is your motor setup?

MAV3RiCK478, no stupid questions here bro, I'm still in the learing phase.

I have new plugs, I just bought a fuel filter but have not put it in yet. No, I have not reset the ecu, I didn't even know about that. How do you do recet the ecu?

I've got this question going on the CRX forum and a few people have asked about the ecu and other things. To recap this is my set up.....

2000 Si head (a little work done to it)/99 block, Typhoon manifold with integra (96 beleive) fuel rail and FPR, CAI, Stock header, Invidia exhaust (SWEET!). I've got a Type R TB & manifold but will put on later once I get this mess cleared up. My cat is a Magnaflow, but I don't that's the problem. I'm running OBD-0 right now with PR3 ECU.

One guy says my current FPR(96 integra) maybe an issue because of the PR3 ECU.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

to reset the ecu, just unplug the neg. terminal of the battery for about 5 min. then plug it back in. let it idle for a while so the ecu can relearn everything

Looks to me like you have a chipped ECU or a bad O2 Sensor wire. Try gapping your spark plugs to .080" and retard ignition timing ALL the way. Do this outside of the emissions place, then when you go in, ask them if they can run your car in manual mode to see if it's going to pass. This way will save money, then adjust it back to normal when you pass.

Hum, I guess did that without knowing when I removed my battery for more then 5 five minutes and this was before I did my last emissions test so that didn't work either.

Thanks 97dxnut for the info.

slomofo, I will check the 02 sensors (both new) wires again, they're connected right but maybe they are not making good contact. These are not OEM sensors so I had to cut the wires.

The ECU is stock.

Use the cleanest unleaded race fuel you can find, dont add any octaine adders or any fuel detergants or anything, and lean the fuel out if you can.
Dont retard the timing at all.
If that still dont work, find another address you can use for your car that dont require emmissions and register it there for your tags..
