Factory LSD Question
Can the factory LSD be taken from a Hydro tranny and be put in a Cable tranny...If so is it just a direct replacement...I know factorys aren't that great but I have one for free...so I want to use it to its full advantage..Thanks

it can't be used.......LSD for Cable type and Hydro is different. it can't be interchangeable. But, one type of cable tranny from Integra can use hydro LSD. i can't remember the tranny code. There's no more sticker on it. but i take it from Integra front cuts.
Right now i'm using cable tranny and using CTR LSD and all gear ratios with 4.785 final gear. So responsive.

Did you swap the internals out to get that to work..I dont like my cable tranny...but that because I have the conversion kit...My 3rd gear is gone..and when I change the syncros I want to put some type of LSD in it...

i'm just take out all of gear ratios from my cable tranny, and put all the gear ratios from CTR tranny. its interchangeable. But for Y1 it can't. i can't remember my code tranny. sticker gone already. Just this type of cable tranny only can use Hydro gear ratios and LSD. others cable tranny, not interchangeable.

YS1 92-93 you can
The gear set is the same gear set that is in hydro trans
the casing is different so you have to shave a lil off the casing for the LSD diff to fit.
And btw, oem honda lsd difs are really nice
